Pre-Allied Health

The Pre-Allied Health Curriculum is for students who wish to prepare for entrance into a health science program. A minimum ACT score of 16 is recommended for registration as an allied health major.

Pre-allied health courses provide a suggested guide for program preparation. Information on academic courses that can be taken prior to admission to a health science program can be found under each respective program. These academic courses are also transferable into various academic transfer programs of study for completion of an A.A. degree.

Important Update: Changes to the ACT

The ACT is undergoing changes. Beginning April 1st the Science section will be optional. All prospective students please note MDCC Health Science programs require applicants to complete the Science section of the ACT as part of the admission process. Please ensure your test includes the Science section to meet program requirements.

For more information on admissions and testing guidelines, visit the program's website or contact the MDCC Health Science Department.
